My company currently runs the weekly live stream of Union Presbyterian Seminary’s chapel services. I’m looking for an AVL Technician who can run the stream in my absence.
The stream currently consists of 2-3 cameras run via Sling Studio and soon potentially through an ATEM switcher and/or Q-SYS, depending on future upgrades.
Schedule
- 10/10:30a: Arrive on site, begin setup of mics, cameras, sling studio, depending on the week’s needs.
- 11:15a: Prep the live stream
- 11:45a: Live stream starts
- 12:45 - 100p: Chapel Service (length is dependent on program content)
- 12:45p: Tear down & prep for next week
Experience/Requirements
- Experience in live audio (Behringer X32, mixing for room & broadcast)
- Familiarity with live streaming to YouTube via RTMP
- Experience with Sling Studio & ATEM mini
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Details
- Pay: $35 - $65/hr depending on experience, communication skills, and leadership skills.
- Hours: Wednesdays 10am - 1pm EST with the option to take on additional evening events as needed.
- You will work as a contractor for Alex Sawyer Productions (1099) and report directly to Alex Sawyer and interface with Union Seminary staff.
