The Technical Director is the key player who brings together every part of a live event. They lead the entire production team running sound, lights, cameras, visuals and all other technical details. The TD oversees everything that happens on stage and in the room such as managing transitions, coordinating production schedules and communicating with speakers and musicians.
As a Technical Director I help you plan and execute all technical details for your event. During the event I’m leading the production team, managing every part of the live experience. After the event, I work with post-production teams to capture and share your event.
Production teams are made up of many members and teams like lighting, audio and video. The Technical Director’s job is to bring all of them together to make your event a success. Having a background in technical production, I have years of experience working with each part of a production team.
Creative teams are a crucial part of an event; creating music, videos and designs for stage. As a creative professional myself, I’m very familiar with the creative process. Working with creative teams allows me to oversee how the production team implements their work, bringing it into the live experience.

The Arrabon Conference was a gathering of community leaders who are seeking racial reconciliation in their communities.
As the Technical Director, I led the production team and coordinated with speakers and artists to create an excellent conference.
Production Team – Graphics | 2014-Present
IJM’s annual prayer gathering is a conference of 2,000+ people gathering to hear first-hand stories of IJM’s work in the field.
In the graphics position, I work closely with the Technical Director and the creative team to bring visual content to the screens during the event.
Audio Engineer and Production Manager | 2014-Present
The Voices Tour is an annual weeklong tour where leaders travel to various HBCU’s to encourage and empower other leaders of color.
Each year I run sound for all shows along the tour and I coordinate the rental and transportation of production equipment.
